An experienced DevOps engineer for the Financial Services IT team responsible for application product lifecycle from design and build, through to operate and monitor following lean and agile methodology.
What awaits you?
-Responsible for planning, incepting, implementing multiple products deliverables in the responsible BRM area including adherence to SLA with business and ITPM methodology.
-Start up management for application in build phase (BRI, infrastructure planning, contract management).
-Responsible for code review and quality analysis for new and existing product development .
-Responsible for Operation of production systems for SF China adhering to defined Operation KPI's.
-Ensure continuous improvement of system stability, performance and robustness of SF production systems.
-Work with other IT teams, service provider and business to improve scalebility and reliability, and impact analysis and proposed solution is acceptable by all parties.
-Develop and manage the methods of automated deployment (Continuous Integration, Continuous Integration) and the processes and tools required to execute those deployments.
-Ensure the development vendor follows BMW guidelines of coding, architecture, unit & integration testing and security.
-Responsible for product maintenance with close collaboration with business departments.
-Responsible for release and test management planning and execution.
-Create failure management processes and tools so outages can be handled without causing a loss of delivery.
-System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
-Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of products / services.
-Document processes and user guides for integrated tools and scripts.
-Responsible for escalation process and manages Technical Continuity and Release Management liaising with Business Continuity Management.
Qualifications and experience
-Bachelor degree in Information Science / Business Management.
-Technical expert on Java and .NET technology stack.
-Advanced DB Administration skills including SQL
-Technical expert on setting up and maintaining DevOps tools and processes.
-Excellent in budget management spanning multiple products /projects.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
-Experience with Agile software development, product management methodologies.
-Experience administrating version control systems such as SVN, Bitbucket.
-Preferred: Understanding of central BMW IT processes and FG organization.
-Preferred: Experience development enabling tools (Altova MapForce, Telerik Report)
-Understanding on business concepts in financial area, like credit, settlement, collection, call center, accounting and etc.
