What’s the role?
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of the clients and stakeholders within project delivery. You will work on assigned projects to bring valuable business domain, technical and application knowledge. With this, you will be engaging with Business Interface and stakeholders to discuss relevant business requirements.
As a Business Analyst, you will perform IT requirement analyze work on project, enhancement request or defect fix request that may include Technical Estimating, Technical Analysis, Impact Analysis, Technical Requirements Definition, Technical Solution Design, Technical Specification & Acceptance Criteria, and Technical Test Plan design and execution. You will support the transition of the implementation into Company Standard Service and Operation Model Key Responsibilities.
As a Subject Matter Expert, you adhere in understanding the requirement of a functional specification or user stories, ensure its completeness for next steps and able to resolve defects during test cycles and hyper care including incident/ problem management.
Responsibility
• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business and IT.
• Participate and coordinate in UAT, user training during project delivery phase, collect user feedback and coordinate optimization to improve user experience during product iteration.
• Facilitate communication as appropriate to bridge IT functional assurance team (Architect/IRM/SOM) to ensure the delivery quality and acceptance of all deliverables, this includes escalate issues to the next level of management.
• Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommended solutions.
• Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information.
• Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational support.
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application/system of technology to the current business environment.
• Work with PM as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned.
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for company’s reputation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we need from you
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Experience in internet industry and data platform development related project is a plus.
• Proven strong interpersonal, data analysis, management and prioritization skills.
• Proven fast learning ability.
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/ develop working relationships.
• Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
