Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced marketplace analytics engineer to join our team. As an analytics engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the data analysis activities of various marketplace data. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data analytics and data foundation, with proficiency in SQL.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data analytics strategies, especially based customer first party big data, to support marketing and business objectives and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
• Manage data collection, data storage, and data analysis activities to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.
• Develop and maintain data foundation and reports to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics
• Proficient in SQL
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Good understanding of data privacy and data protection regulations.
• Good understanding of marketplace data and data product
• Strong communication skills (also need to use English) and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Fluent in English
Preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of media industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and data analytics platforms such as AWS, Ali-Cloud, etc.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
• Familiarity with R/python
