职位描述
Description of position: Enters and updates computer records and reports for buying staff of nationwide retail club warehouses. Reviews department inventory reports weekly and tracks item replenishment and purchase orders. Sends and tracks vendor contracts, and ad and logo agreements. Communicates with regional offices, and vendors to relate and gather information, and to resolve issues. Daily tasks and responsibilities: - Set up item and vendor records by keying information in computer. Update item and vendor records for changes such as, price, terms, descriptions, addresses. Key in figures for weekly department recap. - Review department inventory reports by location weekly. Check for zero or negative item sales. Follows up with TP/warehouses to alert of stock not on item page/sales floor or possible receiving error and tracks problem until corrected. Tracks initial stock orders for new location, follow up with vendors. - Set up and track item replenishment and purchase orders in the computer system to ensure the smooth flow of goods to the warehouses. - Mail out vendor contracts, and ad and logo agreements for signatures and tracks until return. - Handle, follow-up and organize paperwork requirements for compliance check, vendor setup, item setup, ordering, and logistic processes. - Communicate with regional buying offices, depots, TP, warehouse, and vendors to relate and gather information and to resolve issues. - Assist Buyers and Assistant Buyers in merchandising projects as needed. - Assist in other departments of the company as needed. Qualifications: - Education/Training: Bachelor preferred. - Experience: One year work experience preferred. - Knowledge/Skills: Negotiation skills, computer skills, math skills, good written and verbal communications skills, multi-tasking, time management skills required. - Fluent written & verbal English.
