Shared Data team in Microsoft STCA is responsible for developing and operating one of the world’s largest data eco-system: PiB data has been being processed, stored and accessed via the data API every day by streaming/batches, based on which we also offer bot detection service via machine learning and data analysis to save online serving cost and provide clean user behavior data. Plus, the team is responsible for developing and operating critical A/B testing services for online experimentation with hundreds of treatments running every day to empower product shipments with data/insights. Besides, modern open-source technologies such as Spark and Kafka are widely used in the team to run the big data business successfully. Thousands of developers in Bing, Ads and Azure are working on top of the data products that the team build. We’re looking for passionate data engineers/scientists tojoin us for the mission of powering Microsoft businesses through Data + Experimentation+ AI and infusing our data capabilities to the industry through Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
· Design and develop key capabilities for our planet-scale data/experimentation systems
· Build intelligence on top of 200 PiB of Microsoft data assets to power Microsoft businesses and industry
· Work with world-class engineer/scientist team on Big Data, Experimentation and Data Science
· Embrace both Microsoft technology and cutting-edge open source technology (Spark/Kafka, etc.)
Qualifications: What to Bring
· Passion on big data, data science and A/B testing
· Solid coding, engineering and analytical skills
· Good analytics skill, good communication skill, fluent in English (both oral and written)
· Experience in developing large-scale distributed system or experiences of Hadoop ecosystem is a plus

微软的标准面试流程是：首先如果简历筛选合格，会有一个小时电话面试，如果通过，会安排来微软公司现场三轮技术面试，如果通过，1-2轮一线经理面试，然后二线经理面试，最后人力资源。每轮大概一个小时。社招面试主要是关于数据结构，算法和之前的项目经验。
